Badagoni Wine Company was founded in 2006 at the winery center in Kakheti, in the village of Zemo Khodasheni in the Akhmeta district. Badagoni was named after the Georgian deity of abundance and fertility, vinery and wine, longevity, and reproduction. The company was established by Mr. Giorgi Salakaia, a great professional and an organizer of winemaking.
Renowned Italian oenologist, Professor Donato Lanati, has been instrumental in refining the technological process and each brand of wine. The mission of the company is to create the best Georgian wine from only Georgian grape varieties and introduce it to the wine consumers all around the world while respecting unique Georgian traditions and using the most advanced technologies and scientific knowledge existing in the wine industry.
კომპანია “ბადაგონი”(Badagoni) დაარსდა 2006 წელს მეღვინეობის ცენტრში, კახეთში, ახმეტის რაიონის სოფელ ზემო ხოდაშენში. კომპანიის სახელად აღებულ იქნა სიუხვისა და ნაყოფიერების, ვაზისა და ღვინის, დღეგრძელობისა და გამრავლების ქართული ღვთაება – ბადაგონი. კომპანია ჩამოაყალიბა მეღვინეობის დიდმა პროფესიონალმა და საუკეთესო ორგანიზატორმა ბატონმა გიორგი სალაყაიამ.
